Stingray Radio Calgary has an exciting part-time opportunity in our Promotions Department. As a member of our team, you will represent the stations at various events, concerts, festivals and on location broadcasts in Calgary and surrounding areas.
Our ideal candidate will be motivated, responsible, and energetic! This opportunity is for someone who knows how to have fun and can represent our brands in a professional, respectable manner.
Your day-to-day
- Represent Stingray Radio at events, concerts, festivals, client locations, movie premieres, etc.
- Maximize our station on-site presence by setting up banners, event signage, broadcast equipment etc.
- Conduct contesting and sampling opportunities on location
- Develop current and compelling content for our social media platforms
- Ensure the proper handling and safe storage of all promotional signage and equipment
- Upkeep our fleet of station vehicles
Your qualifications
- Hold a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Be reliable, punctual, energetic and outgoing
- Be mature and be able to work without supervision in an independent setting
- Have a strong knowledge of our stations and audiences
- Have a positive attitude, ability to problem solve and a strong desire to achieve
- Communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal skills
- Manage a flexible schedule that could include evenings & weekends
- Be open to additional opportunities to assist various departments within Stingray Radio Calgary
